Career opportunities at Roxbury YouthworksRoxbury Youthworks, Inc. (RYI) is a community–based nonprofit organization. Our mission is to create healthy families and strong communities; to inspire young men and women to recognize and develop their strengths; and to prepare them to lead independent and self-sufficient lives. RYI combats the roots of juvenile delinquency in the inner city neighborhoods of Boston by providing innovative support services to court-involved and other youth up to 21 years of age.We are currently seeking applicants for the following positions:Community Monitor will work under the supervision of the Site Coordinator and in collaboration with DYS Caseworkers. Life Coach Supervisor Under the general supervision of the Program Director, this position is responsible for assisting with the management of the daily operation of the program and direct supervision of life coaches assigned to them. Supervisors will assist staff in developing and implementing programs and activities for youth which promote pro-social behavior. Life Coach Life Coaches will provide prevention, intervention, support, stabilization, advocacy, and therapeutic services for three to seven young males, females, and/or transgender youth assigned to their caseload between the ages of 12-21. These youths have been identified as; at risk of becoming involved; involved; or in recovery from sexual exploitation.
